1. Overview

Welcome to maaticrafts.shop. The terms “we,” “us” and “our” refer to maaticrafts.shop.

We operate this website and online store, including related information, content, features, tools, products and services (collectively, the “Services”). Our store is powered by Shopify.

These Terms of Service, together with the policies referenced below, govern your use of the Services and purchases from our store. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

By using the Services or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or waived.

2. Eligibility and Account Information

To place an order, you must be legally able to enter into a binding contract in your place of residence. If you are not, a parent or legal guardian must place the order on your behalf.

You agree to provide accurate, current and complete contact, billing, payment and shipping information.

If you create an account, you are responsible for taking reasonable steps to protect your login credentials. Notify us if you become aware of unauthorised access to your account.

You may not sell or transfer your account or use another person’s account without authorisation.

3. Products and Product Information

We aim to describe and display our products accurately, including relevant sizing, materials, features and prices.

Colours may appear slightly different depending on your device and display settings. Such differences do not remove your rights if a product is defective or materially different from its description.

Please review the product description and any product-specific measurements before ordering. General size guides provide a reference, and fit may vary by style, cut and fabric.

We may update product listings, discontinue products or limit quantities for legitimate operational reasons. Changes to listings do not retrospectively alter the agreed description of an accepted order.

4. Orders and Acceptance

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products under these Terms and the information presented at checkout.

An automated order-receipt message acknowledges that we received your order. Acceptance occurs when we expressly confirm acceptance or confirm shipment.

Payment authorisation alone does not constitute order acceptance. For an instalment or deferred payment method, payment arrangements are governed by the terms presented by the relevant provider at checkout.

We may decline or cancel an order for legitimate reasons, including unavailable stock, inability to verify payment, suspected fraud, legal restrictions or a material listing error.

If we decline or cancel an order, we will notify you using the contact information provided and promptly refund any payment collected for the cancelled items and related charges.

We will not substitute a different product or increase the price of an existing order without your agreement.

5. Prices, Currency and Payments

The applicable price, checkout currency and order total are displayed before you submit your purchase.

Shipping charges, applicable taxes and any other charges collected by us will be disclosed before you complete checkout. Any applicable import charges payable separately will be explained before purchase.

Prices and promotions may change for future orders. Changes do not affect an order already accepted, except as permitted by law or agreed with you.

You must be authorised to use the selected payment method. Payments are subject to verification and approval by the relevant payment provider.

Available payment options are those displayed at checkout. Options may vary by location, device, transaction and provider eligibility.

If you choose Klarna or an available Shop Pay instalment option, review the provider’s payment schedule, fees and terms before proceeding.

Your bank or payment provider may apply currency conversion charges or other fees under its agreement with you.

6. Order Changes and Cancellations

If you need to change or cancel an order, contact info@maaticrafts.shop as soon as possible and include your order number.

We will check whether the request can be accommodated. Once an order has entered fulfilment or shipped, we may be unable to change or stop it.

If cancellation is no longer possible, you may request a return under our Return and Refund Policy. This does not affect any cancellation rights available under applicable law.

If we agree to cancel an order before shipment, we will refund the amount collected for the cancelled products and any associated shipping charges that no longer apply.

7. Shipping and Delivery

Available shipping destinations, charges, processing times and delivery estimates are described in our Shipping Policy and at checkout.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed dates unless expressly stated. We remain responsible for meeting our obligations under the order and applicable law.

If we cannot ship within the stated timeframe, we will notify you and, where required, give you the option to agree to a revised timeframe or cancel for a refund. For U.S. orders, we will follow applicable requirements concerning shipment delays, customer consent and refunds.

If a shipment is missing, damaged or incorrectly delivered, contact us so we can investigate with the carrier and arrange an appropriate resolution. Handing a parcel to a carrier does not, by itself, remove our obligations to you.

Please provide a complete and accurate delivery address. If an address error results in additional delivery costs, we will explain any proposed charge and obtain your agreement before charging it.

8. Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

Purchases are subject to our Return and Refund Policy.

For orders delivered within the United States:

  • Return and exchange requests must be made within 30 calendar days of receiving the item.

  • We accept returns of both defective and non-defective products.

  • Non-defective returns must be in new, unused and unwashed condition, with original tags and included accessories.

  • Returns are made by mail to an assigned warehouse within the United States. Contact us for the appropriate address before sending an item.

  • Customers obtain and pay for return postage for non-defective returns.

  • We cover necessary return shipping for defective, damaged or incorrect items.

  • We do not charge restocking fees.

  • Eligible refunds are processed within 3 calendar days after we receive the return, including inspection within that period. Banks and payment providers may require additional time to post the credit.

  • Original outbound shipping is not refunded for non-defective returns. For defective, damaged or incorrect items, we refund the original shipping charges attributable to the affected items.

  • Exchanges are subject to stock availability.

Our UK business contact address is not a return warehouse.

9. Promotions

Promotions may have additional conditions, including eligibility requirements, expiry dates or product exclusions. Any such conditions will be presented with the offer.

If promotion-specific terms conflict with these Terms, the promotion-specific terms apply to that promotion, provided they do not limit mandatory consumer rights.

10. Relationship with Shopify

Shopify provides the technology that enables us to operate the Services. Purchases made through our store are transactions between you and maaticrafts.shop.

We are responsible for our product listings, orders, fulfilment, customer service, returns and refunds. Shopify is not the seller of our products.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Shopify and its affiliates are not responsible for claims arising solely from our sale or fulfilment of products. This does not exclude any responsibility that Shopify may independently have under applicable law or its own agreements with you.

Acknowledging these Terms does not replace any separate consent required for marketing, cookies or other data processing.

12. Intellectual Property

Content on the Services, including text, photographs, graphics, logos and other materials, belongs to us or the relevant rights holders and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may access and use the Services for personal shopping purposes and retain copies of your order information and applicable policies.

Except as permitted by law or authorised by the rights holder, you may not copy, republish, sell or commercially exploit content from the Services.

Purchasing a product does not transfer intellectual property rights in its branding, design or associated content.

Shopify’s trademarks belong to Shopify. Other third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply an affiliation or endorsement beyond what is expressly stated.

13. Third-Party Tools and Links

The Services may include links, payment options or tools provided by third parties.

Separate terms and privacy policies may apply when you choose to use those services. Please review them before providing information or completing a transaction.

We do not control independent third-party websites or services. This does not remove our responsibility for our own obligations to you, including where we engage providers to fulfil those obligations.

If you submit a public review or other content for publication, you confirm that it reflects your genuine experience and that you have the necessary rights to submit it.

You retain ownership of your content. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce and format it as reasonably necessary to operate and promote the Services, subject to applicable law and your privacy rights.

Private customer service messages and return photographs are handled under our Privacy Policy and are not automatically treated as public marketing content.

Reviews must not contain unlawful material, personal information about others without permission, misleading claims or content that infringes third-party rights. Disclose any incentive received for a review.

We may remove content that violates these requirements. We do not prohibit or remove an otherwise lawful review solely because it is negative, and we will not alter a review to misrepresent the reviewer’s opinion.

To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the website.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any applicable warranty or legal requirement that products be as described, of satisfactory or merchantable quality, fit for an applicable purpose, or otherwise comply with consumer protection law.

19. Liability

We are responsible for loss or damage for which we are legally liable, including under applicable consumer protection laws.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for business losses arising from products purchased for personal use or losses that could not reasonably have been anticipated when the contract was made.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

These Terms do not remove your right to seek a refund, replacement or other remedy available under applicable law.

20. Suspension or Termination

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address fraud, a material breach of these Terms, unlawful activity or a security risk.

Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Immediate action may be necessary to prevent harm or comply with legal requirements.

Suspension or termination does not remove your rights relating to existing orders, refunds or valid claims.

Provisions that are intended to continue after termination, including applicable intellectual property and dispute provisions, will remain effective.

21. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising from them are subject to the law determined under applicable choice-of-law rules.

Nothing in these Terms deprives you of mandatory protections available under the laws applicable in your place of residence or prevents you from bringing a claim before a court that has jurisdiction under applicable law.

If you have a concern, contact info@maaticrafts.shop so we can try to resolve it. Contacting us does not restrict your legal remedies or your ability to raise a payment dispute with your provider.

If a provision is found unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce it later.
